At CollectorsTrader, we take privacy and transparency very seriously. This Privacy Policy describes in a straightforward manner how we manage images and information when you use our mobile application for counterfeit detection based on Artificial Intelligence.

By using this application, you accept the practices described in this document.

 

1. Device Permissions (Camera and Gallery)

To allow the application to analyze cards, it requires access to your device's image features. You can use the application in two ways:

  • Camera: To take photos of the cards in real time.
  • Gallery / Storage: To select images already saved on your phone.

These permissions are used exclusively to upload photos of the front and back of the card you wish to verify. The application does not access any other private files or information on your device.

 

2. Image Processing and Storage

When you request a card analysis, the corresponding images are sent securely and encrypted to our cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud). There, our Artificial Intelligence model processes the visual characteristics of the card to return an estimated result within seconds.

 

3. Use of Images for AI Improvement

The photographs sent by users are stored on our secure servers for the sole technical purpose of serving as a dataset for retraining, optimizing, and continuously improving the accuracy of our detection algorithm. This process allows the system to constantly learn and become more precise at identifying fake cards.

 

4. Anonymization and Security

We want you to use this tool with total peace of mind:

  • No personal connection: Stored images are completely anonymous. We do not collect location metadata, personal data, or device identifiers, making it impossible to link the photos to your identity.
  • No commercialization: CollectorsTrader does not sell, rent, or share images with third-party companies for marketing or commercial purposes. Their use is strictly technical and exclusive to developing our own technology.

 

5. Disclaimer

Our Artificial Intelligence technology is constantly learning. The results provided by the scanner are an indicative statistical estimate based on computerized visual analysis.

This result does not constitute a legal, official, or binding appraisal. CollectorsTrader is not responsible for any purchase, sale, or commercial transactions made by users based on the software's estimates.
